· Agreement to the collection or use of the required personal information.

Privacy Handling Policy

Libero Hotel (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) dedicates to protecting privacy of personal data of customers using our website and membership service through Privacy Policy. Safety measures are taken into action for protection, collection, and use of personal information.

The Company is committed to protect personal information of customers and prevent the violation of human rights occurred as a result of the leakage of information. This Privacy Handling Policy may be amended depending on the establishment of revision of laws or a change of the Company’s internal policy. In the event that the Privacy Handling Policy is amended, the amended version will be posted on the website.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Company collects personal information from customers through its website, membership subscriptions, or events, in order to confirm the identity and provide effective service.

2. Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information

If a customer confirms the statement by selecting “Agree” on the internet or give verbal agreement on site at hotel, the consent is deemed to be given for the collection and use of personal information.

3. Personal Information Items to be Collected and Methods of Collection

The Company collects and uses personal information required (name, phone number, e-mail) to provide basic services.

Other than required items, a customer may selectively provide following optional items; company name, phone number, job, etc. The Company shall collect credit card number and date of credit card, or bank account, etc. from a customer in the event of room reservation and membership subscription. Sensitive personal information (including race and ethnicity, ideology and faith, hometown and place of birth, political, disposition, criminal records, health information and sex life) which could infringe on the basic rights of customers is not collected unless stated by the law. The Company shall retain the customer’s personal information until the purpose of collection or disclosure of such information are accomplished and shall destroy the personal information immediately when such purposes are accomplished.

4. Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

The Company shall not use or disclose to any third party any of the customer’s personal information except in cases where a customer is informed in advance of details of the reasons and procedures for the transfer or assignment. In such case the Company shall seek the customer’s consent. The personal information can be provided without a customer’s consent as follows:

- in the event the information is required by law or by other government authority

- when duly and reasonably requested by an investigation agency for investigation purposes or by the Korea Internet Safety Commission

- In case of a request specified by the related laws

5. Viewing, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information

Customers can view or request a correction on the required personal information at any time. Optional information may be also viewed, corrected, or deleted. If a customer wishes to correct or delete the personal information and/or withdraw membership, he/she may call the main telephone number (+82-51-740-2111) or contact Privacy Officer in writing or by email. The Company will respond forthwith after identity verification.

A customer may withdraw the consent to the collection and use of the personal information by e-mail, telephone, in writing via facsimile, etc. In this case, his/her identification number and/or registered membership number should be provided for identity verification.

6. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

Until a customer wishes to delete, correct, and/or withdraw membership services, the Company shall retain and use the personal information to provide services. In case where a qualification is suspended as reasons occur such as a request for withdrawal from membership services, etc., the personal information shall be deleted by a technical method that disallows reproduction of the records and shall not be viewed or used by any method.

7. Management of Protection for Personal Information

The Company minimizes the number of personal information processing personnel and performs periodic and irregular training to such people. Personal information is encoded and safely managed by the use of a separate security function. Measures necessary to control access to personal information are being taken, and unauthorized access from the outside is strictly controlled.

8. Collecting Opinions and Handling Complaints

The Company has set up a customer service hotline to effectively communicate with the customers. The Company shall immediately check customers’ opinions and problems and then endeavor to take measures as shortly as possible. If a customer wishes to report a breach of privacy, he/she may contact the Personal Information Violation Reporting Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr).

9. Privacy Protection for Children Under the Age of 14

The Company does not collect any personal information of a child under the age of 14 to protect his/her privacy, and a child under this age cannot become a member of the Company.
